My latest assignment took me to Firebird International Raceway in Phoenix, AZ for an up close and personal introduction to some new high-performance Bridgestone Potenza tires. I tested the new G019 Grid tire on the VW GTI and the new RE760 on the BMW 1 Series. There was also an AMG driving session in both the C 63 and E 63 AMG from Mercedes-Benz. Full recaps are coming down the pipeline soon. In the meantime here’s some in-car video of me tearing up the wet autocross course in the Bimmer.
P.S. The video footage was shot by Bridgestone on March 26, 2008. Obviously, the date/time stamp is incorrect. But, the G-force meter is working fine. Pretty cool!
