Anyway, happy holidays to all my family, friends, colleagues and anyone else out there reading this…. And, to all a good night.

I’ve had my blog setup this way for a few months only and already I’ve done three core updates. The first two gave me a few mild headaches and some of my plug-ins required a bit of fiddling with to get things to work just right. And, so I contemplated the process for a week before finally diving in today. It went better than expected. I’m still not sure about the overall design, but the Atahualpa theme is highly-customizable and I like the rotating header image possibilities. Those who are looking for (or may want) a great host for your self-hosted blog or website should consider a 1&1 Hosting package. They offer many affordable packages that work very well with the current and at least the two previous WordPress builds.

The front door might say under construction, but I’ve now got WordPress up and running here at journauto.com. It seems this blogging thing is not slowing down anytime soon and, while I’ve been maintaining a blog of sorts over at my other site KeenInk.com for some time now, I thought a change in venue would do me some good. I’ve been using Dreamweaver for years and have learned a lot, but there are still so many features that I’ll never understand or get to use. I gotten the gist so far and, since my web host (1&1) supports WordPress, I figured what the heck. Feel free to take a look at my other site and perhaps leave me some suggestions in the comments area as I bring myself up to speed here. Later.
