I’ve driven some pretty cool rides on my my birthday in year’s past. This includes a MTM Bentley Continental GT (the world’s fastest Conti GT at the time, on a German autobahn no less) and a pair of Aston Martins (a V12 Vanquish S and the first year of the V8 Vantage). A few years after that, I got to drive the Ariel Atom Supercharged on Shannonville Motorsport Park’s Fabi Circuit and; boy, what a fun day that turned out to be! This year, I found myself at the Mosport International Raceway with Pfaff Tuning for an upcoming special feature on Autonet.ca. I didn’t get behind the wheel of anything myself this year, but Pfaff Tuning driver PJ Groenke was kind enough to take me around the big course for a couple of laps in Chris Pfaff’s brand spanking new 2012 Porsche Cayman R. Sweetness! But, next time I want the key!
